Piaget Blog Post 2
The boy is in pre-operational
stage because he is unable to realize that a feather can break glass because he
has never seen a feather break glass.
The girl is in concrete operational because she compared the two different
scenarios and realizes that the man breaks the glass with the feather because
he has a feather and it can break glass.
You could teach the boy that even though he has never seen a feather
break glass that the sentence says it does and therefore the man broke the
glass with the feather. You could teach
the girl to analytically think about the two sentences and see if there were
any other options like his fists or shoes.

I'm not sure I understand your analysis of the girl in the video. What is important about comparison here? What does she realize? I think Piaget might say that the important part of this is that she's thinking hypothetically about a situation that cannot happen in the physical world. I like your initial description of the boy's thought.
